oysters and beer
Here I go again.
So, I've recently read Sex, Lies and Online Dating by Rachel Gibson, and Simply Irresistable by Lucynder Storey.
Both feature a literary type (first example: writer, second example: english teacher) who meet a hunky coppy during a crime investigation, with which they are inextricably involved.
I confess I don't read a lot of contemporary fiction, and thought that the whole nice-girl-hunky-copper thing was a standard fantasy. However, turns out true life (assuming this is that) can be more entertaining than fiction... oysters and beer
