Swapping

A fellow UK Luluer asked if anyone had a 'Mayfair' from mcdonald's current monopoly promotion.

As it happens, I don't, but it prompted me to go looking for swap-sites, figuring *someone* must have set up a site where people could trade collectables. A swap shop, type thing.

...they weren't entirely what I had in mind, but still.

My question is: if people can swap DVD's, Video games etc, how can it NOT be okay for people to swap ebooks/MP3s? And it isn't- not if you get a DRM protected one.

I guess the issue is that concept of 'an original'... which happened to be the subject of my degree dissertation... damn it, I'm sure I can solve this major issue, if only my evil genius would work harder....
